From my family to yours
About Us
Born and Raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Chef Shanise was raised by her paternal grandparents. In 2009 she fell in love with baking and cake decorating. At the time she was doing it part time.
In 2015, she decided to quit her job and enroll at the Culinary Institute of Lenotre in Houston, Texas. In 2016, Shanise graduated top of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors. As a Baker and Pastry Chef.
She is a mom of 5 kids, that are her world. Starting out by taking the Basic Wilton Cake Decorating classes at Michael's, Stores. Her skills grew as quickly as her love for the craft.
In 2010 she went from baking for co-workers and family birthdays to eventually taking the leap into baking as a career.
On a personal note, when Chef Shanise is not baking (or teaching decorating classes), she enjoys being with her family, going to church and learning new things.
